HEC focuses on preserving the environment and protecting the world from pollution. HEC has successfully built numerous sewage treatment plants and other environmental protection facilities such as sludge compost plant by applying its patented technologies. Today, HEC is taking part in the “Four Major River Restoration” Project in Korea and other projects related to water resource development as part of an endeavor to cope with global warming and natural disasters.Hyundai Engineering has taken the initiative in participating in the SOC projects such as highways and bridges. Also HEC has developed its own Bimodal Tram which is an advanced concept of public transportation. HEC will continue to move forward in enhancing the energy efficiency of environment friendly railway system.
